Soon, James was being invited along a 'family trip' of sorts to New Rome. Before he could answer right away, Mairin perked up and her excitement made James's smile grow wide. He nodded, turning to Percy. "Hey I'd love to come with you guys. I'd need to check with Leo to see if it was okay," his Cabin Leader and brother was supposed to oversee this sort of thing, but James was sure he would say yes to spending time with Annabeth and Percy, right? Not too mention Mairin... "I've heard great things about it too. Should be fun!" he turned back to Mairin, his own cheeks reddening as he widened his smile.

"When do we leave?" he knew he sounded eager, but when else would be get an experience to do something so new an exciting with Mairin?

The smile on Percy's face grew wide. He loved making Mairin happy. So seeing that excitement on her... well that was like blue milk to his cereal. Perfect. 

"I thought I told you about it... oh wait. That could have been a dream." Recently, he was having a difficult time telling the difference between reality and dreams. He knew most of the time which was which, but his dreams were starting to be about common place things that he was going to do anyway, that is where they got confusing. 

Turning to James he hid his sly grin at the boy's quick answer. Everything according to plan. Set up his sister with a cute guy. Check. Make sure said guy knows Annabeth's name. Check. Intimidation factor... double check. 

"We are leaving on Tuesday at 10pm. It is the new moon, so make sure you bring your shield and sword. The crazy monsters come out around the New Moon opening. Pack light, I have clothes you can borrow, but you want to be able to run if you need to."

Triple check.
