PERSONALITY

A teenage boy who has had a rough life needs some method of defense against everything the world can throw at him. Percy's defense is humor and wit. He is known for his witty verbal comments, but not for his knowledge. He is very smart, but his knowledge lies in practical things, rather than book knowledge. Besides his girlfriend, Annabeth, has the book knowledge covered. Friendly, loyal, and kind Percy looks out for his friends. He doesn't much care for people who take advantage of him or his friends. He does whatever he needs to in order to keep his friends safe.

HISTORY

Percy Jackson has lived with his mother his entire life. Until he was 12 years old he didn't know who his father was. Then, in a crazy turn of events which involved finding out his best friend was a stayer and his mother nearly dying, Percy discovered his father was Poseidon, Greek god of the sea. He was brought to Camp Half-Blood "The only safe place for demi-gods." There he met Annabeth Chase, his now girlfriend. He, Annabeth, and his best friend Grover went on several quests together, saving the gods and Camp Half-Blood multiple times in the process.

After he turned 16, and after saving the world from the titans, he was sure that his life would quite down, however it did just the opposite. He was kidnapped by Hera and dropped off in Camp Jupiter, a Roman demi-god camp that had been kept secret from the Greeks for 100 years. He made new friends, went on quests, and helped bring the two camps to a meeting. After that disaster, Percy, Annabeth, and the other heroes of the Prophecy of Seven went to save the gods, yet again. They traveled to Mount Olympus in Greece and stopped Gaea from returning and over-throwing the gods.

Now at 18, Percy is seen as a leader at both Camp Half-Blood as well as Camp Jupiter and has been influential in the making of peace between the two camps. He was asked to be an ambassador to work with both camps and make sure there was peace. He is attending college in New Rome with Annabeth, surfs when he gets the time, and is often seen practicing his sword.

EXPLANATION OF ABILITY SPECIALTY

Percy can control water, this manifests itself in many ways. Sensing the different currents in the ocean, the creation of localized hurricanes for short amounts of time, and even an innate understanding of how to use a sailing vessel. Percy works better with salt water but can use fresh water as well. When he is in water, he is always stronger.
