The Rules

We are an age 16+ Site!

General;

I. Please be respectful to all roleplayers and staff, we are here to have fun!
II. Please make sure to post as well as chat! Let's have fun!
III. No sexually explicit links, images, texts, or videos may be posted anywhere on this forum. This could result in a shut down for the entire forum as a whole. 
IV. When you have a question, please either ask a staff member via PM.
V. WE DO ACCEPT OUT OF CHARACTER ACCOUNTS. Feel free to make one.
VI. Please keep cussing/swearing to a minimum.


Graphics;

I. We require everyone to at least have an avatar and hover image, a signature is not required but is welcome.
II. Please no explicit, nasty or naughty pictures.
III. Please do not stretch the page.
IV. The hover image size is 230x400 and the icon is 150x150. The images will resize if you can't cut it down to size.
V.  If you use art for the OOC account graphics please credit the artist in your sig.

Character Creation:
I. Upon acceptance, your forum username should be changed to your character's name in ALL CAPS.
II. One character per account. If you have twins, you still have to make two accounts.
III. We do not allow characters under the age of thirteen. This is due to the fact that we feel it will be easier for you to plot and roleplay with others if you have characters around the same age or older.
IV. Your first three characters can be made at any time. From the fourth character on, in order to be accepted each accepted character must be participated in/completed two in character threads.
V. Face claims must be a celebrity, model etc. face. No animated faces.
VI. Roman campers remember - you must train with Lupa at the Wolf House before attending camp. Camp-Half blood remember - you can be a summer or year round. ALL DEMI-GODS ARE CLAIMED BY AGE 13.
VII. Applications posted count as claims for faces and canons for one week.

BANS/GODLY/.Gods:
I. Any Gods/Goddesses can be played, but only with express staff permission. Talk to Suzie X . IF YOU PLAY A GOD, YOU STILL CANNOT GOD-MOD OTHER CHARACTERS.
II. Only two children of Calypso may be accepted on the site and they must all have been born before the year 1900. (2 Available)
III. At this time, a player may only 20 characters total.
IV. We have a limit of two Big Three characters aside from canon. They must all have been born before the year 1930. The Great Prophecy was given some time in the 1930's. When the Prophecy was made Zeus gave his brothers a deadline as to when to turn over the children. Other children just like Nico and Bianca could easily have been hidden as well before this deadline. In your history, explain how your character pulled this off. (AVAILABLE: 0 Hades, 2 Zeus, 1 Poseidon, 1 Jupiter, 2 Neptune, 2 Pluto) 
V. Each member may only have ONE child of the big three total, regardless of camp.

VI. Currently you are allowed any number of canons, just be respectful of who interacts with who and try not to take people who interact together too much. When it comes to "The Seven" just check with Suzie before claiming more than one.

VII. At present, charmspeak is capped unless you are using a canon character with the ability.

 Roleplaying;

I. No godmodding or powerplaying. This means you do not control other peoples characters whether it is in thread or in plot. We must all work together.
II. We have a word count of 50+ words, please make sure it is good quality! If you need help or advice please PM Suzie X or Mod Ali , and we will help you!
III. We are a literate site and therefore encourage proper grammar, punctuation, etc. when roleplaying, but don't be worried if you are not well practiced in this, we can help and encourage you!
IV. All posts should be in third person or past tense.
V. Please make all claims before roleplaying. This is your responsibility!
VI. We are a PG to PG-13 rated site. The Proboards rules state you must fade to black before things get to heavy whether it be in violence, sex or otherwise. Just be cautious of your fellow RPers! We here at Dam Paradise welcome all ages and want to make them feel safe here.
VII. ACTIVITY CHECKS and ACTIVITY- The first time you miss an activity check your character will be moved to the 'inactive' member group and your claims opened. After the second activity check missed your account will be deleted. For staff, the first activity check missed will result in losing staff status.


Chat-box & Discord:

I. All the rules above apply to the Cbox as well.
II. Do not advertise in the Cbox, but feel free to mention sites you love and have mini discussions. Just don't put a site URL in there.
