@open! Enyd didn't often commision, or request new weapons from the armory and forge. She typically just put up with whatever the cohorts told her to use. She'd learn it, and make it work. Today though was different. She wanted something different. It took some begging (something she hated to admit), but she'd eventually convinced one of the weapon smiths to create a matching long sword and dagger, something that she could switch between easily. She needed something she could "sort of" dual wield with. That if she was ever restricted with the sword she could quickly switch to without issue. Well, today she was notified they were ready. She arrived at the forges early, and was handed the shiny and new weapons, decorated plainly aside from the symbol of her mother on both hilts. She was good with that. Some demigod kids didn't really care too much about their godly parent, but not Enyd. Victoria was her patron god and her mother. Stepping out side the forges, she tested the weight of the weapons first, then swung them from side to side, feeling how they fit in her hands. So far, so good. She sheathed the dagger, and started a more elaborate test of the long sword, to see it might feel in actual combat. She'd just swung behind, as if to block an invisible sword, but stopped just short. Someone had just stepped into the path her sword had been going, and she'd almost stabbed them. "... Sorry."

Reyna had numbers on her mind. The amount of reports she received daily only seemed to grow day by day. Most of the info was required updates- requiring only her signature to show she had seen the report- or requests for matters to be brought up at the next senate meeting. One of the reports on her desk had contained a request for a budget increase, which required her to discuss the budget proposals in person. Her meeting accomplished, she was tucking the signed report away as she left the forge- and found herself almost walking into a sword. Both the swordswoman stopping and Reyna taking half a step back helped prevent her from having an embarrassing story.
"We do have training fields for practice," Reyna responded- her tone neutral, not carrying the same weight as it did when she was commanding the legion. "They tend to hold less chance of accidentally stabbing bypassers," she added.
