Finley smiled weakly at Dani as she said that she cared about what kept them apart more than caring that they were together. Classic Danielle. He started to feel dizzy and leaned even more into the tree, giving his entire weight into it.

Fix him, Bryant... he opened his eyes slightly at those words, looking up to see a familiar face. "Am-Amaryllis," he muttered, remembering the girl from their archery lesson. As she sent her powers through him, his pain negated for the time being, Finley blinked his eyes fully open to respond. "Griffind. Tried to fight four of them on my own, hah," he said. He turned toward Dani with a slight smirk, "this one saved me though," he said before turning back to Amaryllis.

"Hey, whose that!?" he said, turning toward the boy who had come with Amy. He took a deep breath, assuring himself that the guy was there to help.

"Fin, cool it." Dani ordered, though she wasn't sure he was listening. The last thing they needed was for him to freak out on the healer. Maybe she should just hit him over the head or something to make him calm down. Or knock him out, which ever came first. "He's here to help, just let him do his job." Shooting Amaryllis an exasperated look, Dani moved closer to her brother in hopes of comforting him without getting in the way. How exactly she was going to do that, she wasn't sure, but anything was worth a shot at this point.

" He's a healer Finley. He's going to take care of you until we can get you somewhere to rest, okay?" Nodding towards the son of Apollo, Amy squeezed the arm she was touching reassuringly even though there was a chance he wouldn't feel it. " Sounds like you should've taken a bow instead of a sword, Almighty Instructor. Or you know, a partner. I'm sure Danielle or one of the other Ares kids would've been happy to take you out for a spin. " Even she would've been better backup than none at all. Still, he was a son of Mars and if they were as hard headed as the ares kids were...well, then he was lucky to have come out of there at all.

The sound of Danielles voice telling him to calm down actually worked.The sternness in her voice was something that he recognized, something comforting. As she moved closer to him Finley reached over and placed a hand gently on Dani's arm. "Hey, don't worry. I'm gonna live through this," he joked. As Amy explained who the other person was, Finley simply nodded. He felt the squeeze on his arm and turned to smile broadly at her. "Eeeh, sassy," he mused as she talked about the bow. He was starting to feel delusional again. Perhaps from the high of pain relief but also from the experience he had just had.

"Next time I'll bring the both of you. Then you can prove yourself," he said before promptly passing out.

It had been a while since Finley had passed out back at the rock and Dani had spent most of it by his side. Of course there had been plenty of explaining to do, mostly about how he was really her twin brother and she wasn't just obsessively protective over some son of mars. This was much deeper than even the ares kids could understand. Right now she was sitting beside the bed, reading a magazine that someone had brought her for the fifteenth time. Finley should have woken up by now in her opinion, but he hadn't so she was still there, waiting.

Fins eyes fluttered a little before opening all the way. It was clear that he was in the infirmary, which made him feel better. He hadn't even been in the Greek infirmary before. Heck, he had barely spent much time in the Roman one. He liked to spend as little time as possible there, leaving when it was clear that he was alive and well. He often got scolded for not giving himself enough time to rest up but... he didn't really care. He didn't like people fussing over him, especially not when there were people in much worse situations than he was.

He looked beside him, seeing his sister there. "Dani," he said. His voice was dry and he licked his lips, starting to move to sit up.

oh no you don't. Lay back down. Dani ordered as soon as Finley started stirring. There was no way she was letting him up until he had seen a healer...or three... and they were sure he was fine. Before she said anything else, Dani grabbed the pitcher of water off the bedside table and poured him a glass, sitting on the bed beside her brother. I was starting to wonder if you were waking up Fin. Don't you ever do that again, or I'll kill you myself, you got it? Not necessarily the nicest greeting, but it was heartfelt all the same. She loved her brother and seeing him hurt was tearing her apart.

Dani ordered him to lay back down and he obliged. Even with years apart she still had that kind of power over him. She knew what was best a lot of the time and...he was aware of that. As she claimed she would kill him herself if he did the almost dying thing again, he nodded with a smile. "Hey, I promise I won't die. Especially now," he was going for lighthearted at first but then it hit him how big of an opportunity this was. To be together again. He reached a hand out and placed it upon his sisters, "not losing you again, Dan.'
