PERSONALITY



You know those people who you meet that just make people and at first it feels like they will never fit in but then all of a sudden that show up and you can’t remember your life without them? Well, that is the epitome of what and who Ridley is. Ridley is the daughter of Morpheus, and she is more like him than one would hope. She doesn’t always talk all that much, mainly because she finds when she talks people stare and it, and it makes her feel weird. See Ridley has a very melodic voice, one that if someone closes their eyes will help lull a them to sleep. Ridley is always someone who comes off a little lazy but she isn’t. She’s just more active in the shadows or at night.



Ridley does better at night because her father is a god of the night, she inquired the name sandman at camp because she can see a person’s dream and manipulate it. She has other affinities from her father but they only ever arise in a time where she feels something big. She is usually one to try and make people laugh. But normally people just assume she is dark or odd. Because in the day time it’s rare to ever see her without her sunglasses on. Because as a kid of a god of the night being in the daylight hurts her eyes more. She is usually a little bit more cranky in the morning. Best bet for anyone is to catch her and dawn or dusk. Ridley is commonly seen around the came at night monitoring dreams and helping those with nightmares slay their demons. She is very knowledgeable about dreams can inaperturate them with ease which is sometimes the only reason she is kept around. Because of her power and knowledge it makes her a secret weapon to have on any team. She’s just not always the one you want to talk to when the sun it up.



HISTORY



Ridley was born in the middle of the night, she scared doctor’s because her iris’s were white. At first they thought it was a genetic anomaly. However, after a few days, her eyes took on a ghostly icy grey color. Her mother would say that she was blessed with her father’s eyes. Ridley was only six when her sleeping habits switched fully. Her mother was a night owl and it just worked out for her that her mother wasn’t overly strict. The girl took kick boxing a lot with her mother and eventually moved onto karate because they were evening sports and she could enjoy that. She was waling through her apartment manipulating some kids dreams one night when her mother found her, pulling her back to their unit she stopped as a small silver light appeared and above her, a picture of a closed eye appeared. Things moved fast after that, her mother grabbed her and packed all of Ridley’s cloths and belonging up. She moved quickly and managed to get Ridley to camp half blood with no incident. It was explained to Ridley who her father was, and why he’d claimed her. It was rare for a child to inherit his full power yet she had, being able to do many things with dreams. She would spend a lot of time in her cabin growing up. She was a decent fighter but not the best. Often coming off as lazy and grumpy. However she was the opposite, she was talented and she was good with her powers she just flourished at night. Ridley was on many missions growing up, mainly because her powers allowed her to see everything about a person. Her power more of a defensive power though can be manipulated into being a offensive power when need be. Ridley was a bit weird, a bit of an enigma. But it was always a good look on her. It made her much cooler to a lot of people.<p>



Ridley is now sixteen years old and she has been the only child of Morpheus she knows of that has been claimed. He comes to her a lot in her dreams, countless conversations have been had over and over. He tends to also come to her in the temple and he sends her on many missions. She doesn’t always like going but she understands why she goes. He likes the recognition but she is much more someone who sticks to the background and doesn’t overly do it. Slowly she’s come into her own and is doing a better job at being a little bit more sociable mainly because her father has asked her to be. So she’s trying harder and keep him happy. Mainly because then he leaves her alone. Now she’s stating to become more and more well known after her last mission that helped get a few kids home that were in trouble. She doesn’t really remember the details but knows it was cool.



EXPLANATION OF ABILITY SPECIALTY



Oneirokinesis: this power allows her to see dreams of anyone sleeping, her main thing is that she is able to manipulate the dream into whatever she wants anything that is sleep related she has control over. It’s a handy power for sure. She enjoys it.
