Eris wasn't drawn to traditional heroes the way other gods could be. Heroes restored order to what was in disorder. They ended conflict where there had been plenty. That was absolutely appalling. Who wanted peace and contentment when there could be sweet, sweet, disarray? Certainly not here. She did target those who were angry and bitter and anti-social inside. They were nice lumps of clay for her to shape and mold. They were her pawns who could utterly disrupt the game. And since she had been hanging in the shadows around the two camps since the whole business with the dreams and animosity, he had sought campers who she felt she could impose her strife-filled will upon. She had found on in Clove Tyler. The girl was all kinds of messed up inside- conflict within herself and conflict without. Perfect. Clad in a black suit, she sat on a log near the forest and ate a bowl of frosted mini-wheats. She normally didn't like cereal, but the conflict of the healthy wheat side and the frosted side enticed her. Her dark eyes looked about for her target. Naturally, she would use her subtle charm to draw her over, causing a voice to go off in Clove's head. "Come to the forest... or don't!" uttered the voice. "I don't care either way." Yep, that probably did it. Clove Tyler

As per usual, Clove was in a sour mood. It seemed that these days, she usually was in a sour mood. It was probably due to being away from the very few demigods out there that she actually cared for and trusted. It was not knowing that Caleb guy wanted when he kept messing up her name on purpose and using his magic to keep her from retaliating properly. She desperately wanted to sink her life deep into his... legs? At least he kept things interesting so that was nice. She was just playing with her knives like a perfectly good and fine youngling when a voice suddenly invaded her mind. Demigods and hearing voices? Never a good sign. Clove knew this, but the suggestion she had a choice suggested that not showing up was a far worse alternative. Not to mention she was curious who would actually invest time in her. A quest? Didn't seem too likely, although it was worth a shot. So Clove dropped from her top bunk, landing softly like a cat. Not all Ares kids were big, bulky and stupid. She fought more based on her agile nature and her frame was tiny compared to most of her siblings. She got plenty of shit for it too, although she felt they were more likely to mean it in good nature than any of the campers. Clove did her habitual knife check before walking out of the cabin and into the forest. She knew she had to be careful but as she took a few steps she found herself half way down to giving the person the bird and going back. The directions were not exactly clear. She walked a little more, although mostly to be out of earshot of other campers. Then she grabbed a duo of knives in her hand in case she happened to attract monsters. The next step was rude but simple. She shouted. "Your directions suck! Next time you might try for 'meet me at Zeus' deuce!'" Then she held back a smile as she kept walking, figuring that she'd either find the person wanting to be found because they set their will to it or get a bunch of monsters behind her because she'd insulted the wrong person. Then again, that was what she had knives for. ERIS | DISCORDIA

There were a lot of gods who would strike the likes I Clove down in a heartbeat for talking to them like she just did Eris. However, Eris wasn't like other gods. She relished being snapped at, yelled at, hated and despised. She wouldn't have it any other way. This little spitfire had loads of potential. Eris would have liked her if she actually could bring herself to ever like anyone. Eris had a trick in mind and took the form of Clove herself. She then appeared in front of the real Clove and made a dirty face. "You act like you're sooo annoyed, but you know you wanted to come here. You couldn't help indulging in the idea that someone found you special and worthwhile." Eris then took the usual form she took for mortals, complete with her suit spun from darkness itself. "Well as much as I don't like you, I admire your attitude and do think you're... well you're worth something. Otherwise I couldn't have called you over here." She then looked the girl over. "Clove Tyler, a Daughter of War. Sugar Snaps, you're looking at the one who has sparked ever war since before the beginning of time. Name's Eris, Goddess of Discord, Strife, and All Around Trouble-Making."Clove Tyler

Well this was fun! The Goddess looked like her and was egging her on. Clove couldn't help but grin slightly. It was quite something to see a version of herself that was as powerful as a Goddess, even if it was only to taunt her. Besides, you didn't often get to see another version of yourself that wasn't a mirror image. She scoffed at the words for good measure. "Or maybe I just wanted to see who was doing the brain invasion and you don't know me as well as you think you do." Her first insult hadn't gotten her killed so she was willing to give it another go. Smart? No of course not. Fun? Naturally. If she got killed at least she could take credit for being murdered by a deity rather than some boring old monster. Getting a compliment weirded Clove out though. Not even her few friends had that habit. The only person stupid enough to compliment her normally was that piss-ant of an Apollo kid and she wasn't even sure why he did it. She suspected foul play but had recently been forced to consider it was something beyond her understanding, as he had done nothing so far to make his foul play make sense. She pulled a face. "What are you selling? I've never heard a compliment without somebody trying to sell something and they usually come more half assed because people don't actually like me." She narrowed her eyes, even though she was very much curious was Eris was planning to sell her. It was bound to be interesting, right? "I'd say pleasure to meet you but you haven't done anything to make it pleasant so... interested to meet you." She said, not planning on touching divinity. She didn't stick out a hand but stuck them in her pockets beligerently and found herself playing with one of her smaller throwing knives within her pocket in seconds. While she was very interested in intrigued by everything going on, she wasn't really sure if she was going to enjoy this. It could very well prove to be a disaster for her. ERIS | DISCORDIA
