Clove Tyler |Greek Demigod|16|Daughter of Ares| |Weapon Mastery|Isabelle Fuhrman|She/Her| PERSONALITY Clove is a volatile, violent, aggressive and generally unpleasant type of person to be around. She's vicious, does not bother to get people to lke her and has a particular mean streak that is very hard to challenge. She holds grudges, and she holds them for a very long time. She's downright mean and if you can't fight she has no respect for you, not will to get to know you. From a first meeting she seems like a typical teen criminal with little to no redeeming factors and she only bothers to get along with her siblings to avoid being murdered in her sleep. She herself, however, would not be above killing others in theiir sleep.
Despite all of that, she can be a nice person. It's near impossible to disocver the truth as she hides it well and doesn't want people getting close. Alll that does is get you hurt in the long run. She has a troubled past that has long since left an impact on her personality. she is extremely loyal and once she actually trusts yyou, that lingers nearly forever, no matter what you do to others. Harm her and the trust, once gone, is gone forever. Plus she will feel a severe need to harm and mutilate you.
Once you're amonngst her closest friends she's a perfect Ally. She'll go out of her way for you. She doesn't know how to do kindness, but she'll try for those she cares about. She has a possibility to be nice and build genuine connections but this is rare and does not happen too often. She'd rather die than let her friend gets hurt. She can be good, it's just something she finds very difficult. Once she cares about camp, she'll stand as a lone sentry against a tide of monsters to protect the borders and everybody i it. It'll just take her quite some time to get to that point.

To say Clove had a difficult childhood would be an understatement. She grew up as the daughter of a very traumatised war veteran that was barely capable of taking care of herself, let alone the baby daughter. Her father wasn't exactly around to help her out either. Clove was too much like her father from a young age, easy to anger, quick to resort to violent tamper tantrums. Due to the PTSD of her mother, the two didn't take very long to come to blows with one another.
At first, it wasn't too bad as the guilt that her mother felt kept her from escalating the violence. It didn't help that Clove was always angry and didn't really know when to stop. She didn't understand why her mother was so unpredictable and could go from perfectly nice to violent in the matter of one wrong word. She antagonised her mother, with no results or with endlessly predictable results.
As Clove grew older she started creating more distance in the violence she created towards her mother. She started throwing things, at first only blunt objects but knives followed suit far too soon. She discovered herself to have uncanny aim with them and often aimed to scare far more than to main or hurt. Yet her talent was obvious and her insecurities started to shape more aspects of her life. She became more outspoken and volatile in the school environment and found herself kicked out of schools multiple times. Social services came checking in and within a few months, Clove got removed from the house and placed in foster care.
This went well for a good half year. The safety and security of the new home were good, except that Clove was constantly looking over her shoulder. She waited for her foster parents to break and display the same behaviour her mother had. As time went on, she got more volatile out of fear more than anything else. Before long, she started running.
That was when the monster attacks started. Out on the streets with nothing but knives stolen from the kitchen to defend herself, Clove started to practice her knife throwing skills on moving targets for the first time. The bad part was that they didn't really do much to defend her against monsters. That was when the gang first came in. They saved her, but didn't stop to explain themselves. The pretty blond just tossed her a knife made of bronze before they went on their merry way. While at first in complete shock, she recovered. The world was full of monsters, her mother had taught her that much. She started sneaking out at night, until she decided to just give up on the foster system all together by the age of thirteen.
She got claimed while out on the street as a monster had cornered her a little badly. Her father saved her life upon the claiming and gave her the knife she finds most precious. Now understanding the meaning behind the knife the blonde had given her, Clove went decided not to go back to the place that was supposed to be home. She took to the streets to find the small group of five that had helped her out before.
When she finally found the group she was initiated, only to find out that the youngest of them had since passed, although all her new friends refused to tell her why. They took care of her, teaching her to rob, steal and otherwise make a life for herself on the streets. The group encountered a few Satyrs at times but always sent them packing, or when they got to persistent made sure they lacked the ability to follow them around. They were violent teens and spent as much time dodging the police as they did dodging monsters.
At some recent point in time, Clove got curious about camp and decided to temporarily split from the group and find the camp she'd heard about. She is very suspicious and cares very little about anything except knowing more in case bad things ever would come to happen that would leave her alone without much of a defence system. Her friends agreed to her going, although mostly so they would get the required information to decide as a group if the camp was their friend or just a dangerous place filled with enemies.
EXPLANATION OF ABILITY SPECIALTY
Clove has a special talent for throwing knives. She's mastered the skill to perfection and in a controlled environment she never misses. She can know the balance and force needed for a perfect throw by instinct and has very little trouble hitting moving targets. This doesn't mean it's impossible for her to miss a target, but this usually only happens if she has more focus on dodging lethal attacks than aiming. She might be decent with other weapons rather than good but she's mastered the art of throwing knives to perfection.
