Eowyn grumbled ever so slightly as she sat as far as possible from all the happy campers and their singing and sing alongs that just sounded horrible. There wasn't an option to get further than she already was, or she would have taken it. She really just wanted to see if she could electrify the entire bunch of them but she didn't feel like collection everybody present as enemies. It seemed like a bit of a too large group, even more so with possibly electricity resistent kids of Zeus in the mix. Or Ares campers that would go into some form of undying rage to slaughter her before dying. She grumbled as she played with a wire, creating tiny little sparks for her own amusement. How wonderful it had to be to be or date a child of Zeus. They would be able to spark her interest for sure, pun intended. She smiled to herself ever so slightly as she leaned back to watch the campers have more fun than the quality of their singing ought to allow. She rested her studded combat boots on the seat below her and plucked at the lace of her skirt. She'd been a rebel and refused to wear her camp shirt that day, donning a full on goth outfit in stead. She stood out, but she kind of liked it that way. Anything was better than being one of the normal ones down there. Better than fitting in? Well, maybe... She sighed as she noticed another kid sitting away from the downstairs kids, looking to be in a great mood. It was her friend Dion. She grinned and walked over, flopping down beside him as she motioned to the crew downstairs. "I'd say they are worse than usual today. From what I counted the usual 17 false notes per verse has gone up quite a bit with some of the new arrivals." She noted dryly as she grinned at him. At least they got along. That was nice enough. Dion hated the days they had sing a longs as a camp activity more than anything else in the world. People could think he was being dramatic or saying such a thing because it was funny to say to him. Yet he really did hate the sing a longs most of all. He’d have taken a training match or fighting some monster over pain his ears were bound to experience as the end of the day drew near. Still Dion was sadly required to be there, that or some cabin leader would be on his case. It would have almost been worth it Dion thought as they started to sing.
He had found a seat as far away from the bottom of the Amphitheater as possibly and it still wasn’t enough for him. The singing seemed even worse than normal. How could so many children who were descended from gods be this bad at singing. Even worse they seemed so proud of it too. They could just be having fun but Dion didn’t find any fun in this. He didn’t like to sing and he hated terrible singing worse than attempting to sing himself. Dion did his best to attempt to ignore the singing and as he looked over at least the person walking over would seem to help with that.
Eowyn was alright as far as people went. He’d never been much of people person to begin with but there were a few people he could get along with and not be annoyed by. Typically that included Eowyn. She sat down and commented at how bad the singing was at the time. “Tell me about it, at first I forgot this was a sing a long and not a class on how to drive monsters away with just your voice.” Dion said with a single sarcastic laugh. “I imagine if any of them started singing in battle they’d be safe. Someone would probably assume they were already wounded.”

Eowyn laughed whole heartedly at the comment Dion made. Oh yes, this was exactly the kind of thing she enjoyed about their time together. "Well if they get to the point where they even see that it's demigods and not a banshee having like a seriously bad stomach ache." She replied cheerfully as she watched the campers, now with a lot more amusement and less annoyance. If she had somebody to make fun of them with everything became a lot easier for her. Their singing still sounded horrible, although she had to honestly admit that at least a few of them were not bad at all. Most likely children of Apollo or some other music deity. Or possibly Aphrodite kids with charmspeak that could convince you they sounded good by the magic in their voices. Both felt like cheating though. Naturally there would also be some other kids out there that were good but their voices probably disappeared in the crescendo of bad that started near the campfire. She looked to the side at Dion, wondering for a moment how he was doing. They weren't exactly the types to talk about emotions and whatnot. It was too mushy and both of them could vomit by the mere idea of it all. Still, she was kind of wanting to talk to somebody about the jumbled mess in her brain surrounding the insanity of her best friend being at camp. "Dion..." She started, a bit confused in her tone. "My childhood friend is here. I'm annoyed as fuck because it's like she treats me differently now she knows I'm a demigod. Do you think it's my parentage or is there something else? Because it really bugs me that she's so distant all of a sudden. I'm not exactly a cheerios type of person but this is ridiculous." Eowyn could feel her irritation seeping out of her system but she felt that Bella was just being ridiculous about this all. Wasn't she happy to see her again? Had something changed? Did she get a boyfriend or something that didn't approve of their friendship? What on earth could it be? She grumbled slightly to herself. "Somebody should probably wound those idiots down there. Might turn up the singing quality if they try less. A symphony of souls could be better." Dion Warren
