PERSONALITY

Though her career in New Rome did not go in a military direction, Markie is a born leader and displays that at the New Rome Market she runs. She is a fair, but firm superior, and is very by the book. She is friendly and very intelligent and has a good deal more Ceres is her than Bacchus. She is a lover of plants and animals alike. She does have a strict side though, and can have a bit of a temper. It's not best to get on her bad side. She is also picky about what she eats, and can over-work at times, which affects her sleep schedule.

HISTORY
Marcia Levine's mother, Elizabeth, and her father, Jacob, were Demi-Gods living in New Rome. Elizabeth was a Daughter of Bacchus and Jacob a Son of Ceres. Therefore, Marcia, or Markie as she liked to be called, was raised in New Rome. This meant Markie was destined to grow up and become a Legionnaire as well, which she did. Both her parents had been in the First Cohort, and from an early age, Markie showed promise as both a fighter an a leader. When it came her time, she herself became eligible to be in the First Cohort.

Markie proved herself early on, especially using her inherited abilities to her advantage in fighting. Though she was not as powerful with them as a Demi-God, she was still clever in using what she could do to trip up enemies in War Games, as well as impress in training. The one she most admired in the cohort was another Legacy named Lux. They got along with, and Markie eventually developed a crush on him. However, she never felt as if he would be interested in her, despite their friendship. They have remained good friends to this day though.

When Markie grew older and her time in the First Cohort ended, she remained in her home in New Rome. Her parents ran the New Rome Market, and were thinking of retiring. Markie had helped when not training with her Cohort, and after she had finished. Her parents saw she had a mind for the business and, again, had leadership qualities from her days in the First Cohort. Recently, they have given the charge of the Market to her, checking in on occasion to see how she's done. Markie, having two plant-loving gods in her ancestry, is a natural when it comes to selling fruits and veggies and whole grains and hasn't disappointed her parents, and hopefully not her godly grandparents, yet.

EXPLANATION OF ABILITY SPECIALTY
Chlorokinesis is the ability to control plants, and Markie has a variety to control various plants due to their connection to Bacchus and Ceres. However, being a legacy as opposed to a demi-god, their power isn't as strong as that of a direct Bacchus or Ceres offspring. They can cause plants to grow well and even us them as weapons to a point.
