PERSONALITYMia fights with two swords and that's a pretty good indication of her personality. Having been born on June 17th, Mia is a Gemini and therefore has a bit of a thing for duality going for her. In one instance you may see her comforting a younger camper in a motherly fashion and on the other hand you may see her throwing back a shot of whiskey (that is, if you can catch her).
She's outgoing and excitable and loves people. She's had her heartache, sure, but that was no matter. You would think she'd be wary in love, but she's not even close. If anything, she goes all out. Like Mercury, she believes that every person who crosses your path can be important to you, and she doesn't take that for granted. Even with her ex who left her for dead, she believes there was something to learn from that.
HISTORYMia was born and raised in New Rome to a daughter of Apollo and a son of Mercury. Her parents are alive and well, but she really threw herself into the legion when she was old enough to join. Being a legacy, she was placed in the first cohort after training with Lupa, but kind of hated being there. She made some friends, sure, but she really dove into other cohorts and wanted to make friends everywhere. That is the way of Mia.
She has loved life in the legion. As she grew older, she developed the ability of Teleportation due to her Mercury side, and that is really where her combat style flourished. About a month before the Romans marched on the Greek, Mia and two others (her boyfriend being one of them) went on a quest...
The mission was risky, as they were to retrieve a magical book from a group of Cyclopes in the North West regions of Washington state. It was cold and rainy the entire time, but they managed to reach their destination. While there, however, things went south. Mia, her boyfriend, and another girl were separated from the group and ended up battling a cyclops on their own. Accalia was buried under a pile of rubble, and the two left her for dead. At first she guessed that they probably tried their best but couldn't get to her, and she was accepting of that. However, when she returned to Camp Jupiter, she found that wasn't the case.
When she finally returned to camp Jupiter after a long and dangerous journey alone, she found out, that her 'boyfriend' was now dating the girl who had been there when she was left for dead under that rubble. Slowly, suspicion and doubt started to creep into her mind. Did they leave her there on purpose? Her return was only two days before the legion marched on Camp Half-blood, so she was thrown into battle instantly.
While on the battlefield, she met a Greek demi-god. They fought at first, but as the battle went on and the Greeks and Romans finally turned against Gaea together, the two connected instantly. They kissed within a day of knowing each other and now write letters between camps, but it has been a year now and they haven't seen each other since. Her best friends Andrew and Amy constantly tease her about it, but she never took it maliciously. She's head over heels for a Greek, and not sorry about it. Having Wyatt to write to and think about has really been the break she needed from constant war.
EXPLANATION OF ABILITY SPECIALTY
With the power of teleportation, Mia can vanishes from one place and appear in another. She uses this constantly, in battle and in the day to day. Her parents have even banned it whenever she visits them in New Rome because of how much she uses it.
