Shooting arrows, hitting targets... it was all child's play for Andi. Regular exercises? No problem. Andi was athletic and agile. Climbing Wall of Death and Doom? Okay, that continued to be a challenge. The only mark of success Andi had felt with the wall was that she was still alive and had all her body parts attached. Good thing her siblings were the healers, Apollo kid perk, yay, though Andi could probably work on her own healing skills. Her mom was an amazing doctor and her father was Apollo, but she didn't get that sweet ability. She was just darn good at archery. Standing there, she looked up at the wall. It looked so easy from below. She knew better though. She knew what was coming when she climbed... or maybe she didn't . After all the people training her did like for her to be surprised. It was never the same climb twice. She then looked around, wondering just who would be joining her that day. She honestly wasn't sure if it was better to face her fate alone or with someone tagging along. She took a deep breath before she picked up on someone approaching. She turned to see who her unlucky companion was. Benjamin Green

The climbing wall, something Ben was doing his best to get better at over time. Heights weren’t much of problem for him, if he ever got that high. The bane of his existence was the boulders that fell from the top. Ben might as well have had a target on his back because that was the one thing that kept him from advancing too high on the wall. Sure, the lava wasn’t great nor were the poison darts or many of the other traps that laid in wait for any Demi-god who was going to attempt the climb. Yet those were never a problem for Ben. At least not as much as the darned boulders, he might have made it to the top multiple times by now if it wasn’t for them.
Ben arrived at the Climbing wall around when he was supposed to. He didn’t want to keep whoever he was partnered with waiting. It was a terrible way to start any climb, with an annoyed climbing partner. Turning the corner he found a blonde girl standing there now looking back to him. She was familiar enough, after enough time at camp just about everyone seemed familiar even if you didn’t know them. Just from seeing the same people so often. “Sorry if I kept you waiting for too long.” Ben said with a smile as he got closer. Friendly as always with just about everyone. “Man, it looks like they make it taller every time I see it. Which I would say wasn’t possible but I’m sure it is knowing this place.” He joked a little, “Ben Green, nice to meet you.”

Andi had never really been fond of being around guys. She didn't hate them, but she had some bad experiences with flirty male campers who didn't respect the fact that she was asexual. The only ones she seemed to get along with so far were her half-brothers in the Apollo Cabin. So when a guy, one Ben Green, was selected to be her wall-climbing partner that day, she wasn't thrilled. However, when he walked over- one he apologized for being late. Okay, that was kind of refreshing. Two- he didn't flirt with her. Also refreshing. Three, he was thinking the same thing Andi was about the wall. Good, he was smart too. Maybe this Ben Green wouldn't be a headache after all. "I'm Andi Watson... likewise," she said. She then sighed and looked up. "It's definitely taller than last time. I don't know which god is messing with us, but they apparently have a controller that just selected a higher difficulty setting." Andi sighed again. "Guess we'd better get it over with. Want to right side or the left side? Like it probably matters. I think both equally want to kill us." Andi was pretty straight-forward about things. Why hold back on the obvious? Benjamin Green

“Nice to meet you Andi,” Ben replied with his usual smile. At least it was nice to meet her for now. The wall was soon to change just how nice it had been. Andi confirmed that the wall did indeed seem to be taller. Andi said some god might have some type of control and was making it harder for them. “Anything is possible. I learned that already once a satyr showed up at my door.” Ben joked as he wouldn’t doubt some god was bored or wanted to see a challenge from the climbing wall. All Ben hoped for was they forgot to set the boulders on hard mode. Andi offered him whatever he side he wanted before stating it didn’t matter to much as both sides would be out to get them. “I suppose I’ll take that the right but like to said. Both are going to be out to get us.” Ben nodded as he got even closer to the climbing wall and continued to look up at it for a moment. Not exactly looking forward to climb but it had to be done or at least attempted.

Ben had a good point. Anything WAS possible. She met a Satyr as well. Her father was a god, a major god at that. She knew how to hit bullseyes with a bow and arrow from a very early age like it was second nature. She was now at a camp full of demi-gods standing next to a dude who could control plants. Yep, anything could happen. "I mean, I'm all for the impossible being possible and all, but still can't say I'm too thrilled about something I've almost died on becoming even more difficult. But, I guess it advances our training... or something." Andi shrugged at that. She didn't really have a choice. Walking away from her required training had consequences too. With Ben in agreement that they were probably equally endangered, Andi nodded and sighed. "Good luck. See ya on the other side... one way or another..." Andi often wondered if she had really accomplished anything to wind up in Elysium. If anything, she doubted she had done anything bad enough to go... well... elsewhere. Maybe she'd find out sooner and later. Andi stepped over and climbed. She got a good ways up before the poison darts flew at her. Her Supernatural Sight caught them coming in time to dodge them, though avoiding the last caused her to temporarily lose her grip. She quickly regained it though. "I hate this wall."Benjamin Green

Ben nodded as Andi spoke about the wall. He was all for a challenge too but she had a point, he didn’t really want to end up dead from it. Still that was now just part of their lives as Demigods. Dangers, monsters, quests and who knew what else was waiting around the corner. Things some people just couldn’t prepare for. “Well I’d hope whatever god has the remote just wants to see a challenge or see us only slightly hurt.” Ben replied as it was hard to tell just who decided to make the wall harder today. The wall might have decided it himself or possibly a god, all he could hope for was the god or goddess just wanted a show and not to kill them.
As they decided on which sides to take Ben got closer to his wall and just looked up. With a deep breath he started his climb and for awhile it was relatively quiet. He didn’t want to jinx himself so he didn’t say anything but he felt like he would have ran into a trap or two by now. That hadn’t happened yet. Andi on the other hand had seemed to run into poison darts already. Something which was never fun to deal with but she seemed safe which was a relief. She explained she hated the wall and Ben gave a laugh. “Yeah tell me about it, I’m just waiting for the...”
with that there was a momentary rumble from his side of the wall. One he was very familiar with. Looking up he noticed the boulder coming down. Luckily Ben had enough time and it wasn’t exactly a big one. He was able to get out of the way as it fell past him and down to the ground below. “Waiting for those. It’s always the fricking boulders.” Ben said partly annoyed, if anything was going to knock him off the wall just this once he didn’t want it to be boulders.

Ben seemed hopefully about the slightly getting hurt thing. Andi couldn't get behind it though. He thought they were pretty much looking at a possible early death. Camp Half-Blood, where pessimism became realism. "Well I can agree on the challenge part."Andi knew the end to Ben's sentence, if the wall did what it had in the past. And yep... it was those darn boulders. Andi closed her eyes and sighed for a split second before she attempted to dodge them. She kept herself from getting crushed, always a good thing, but one of the boulders brushed her an caused her to lose her grip again. She reached for what she thought was a hand hold, but it was a false one. She fell a short while before she found an actual hand hold. She took a deep breath and got out the way of one last boulder just in time. "Seriously, what is the point of this monstrosity? When am I ever going to climb something whole avoiding getting stabbed, poisoned, and crushed? Not only that, when am I... and now the lava's rising........" Or the wall was sinking. Whenever one, Andi wasn't fire proof, so she climbed for her life, trying to look out for more false hand holds. Benjamin Green
