Magnolia wanted to kick herself for asking that question. It obviously surprised him. It immediately made her think she offended him. After an agonizingly silent few seconds though he laughed. She let out the breath she didn't even realize she was holding. Well, at least he wasn't offended! That, or he was really good at brushing off stuff like that. She forced a small smile. "Maybe I've watched too many sitcoms, but I always think hippies when I hear enviornmental rally." Just a little defense of herself, just in case he was actually super offended and just hiding it. Though at the explanation that his whole cabin was hippies she wondered if they had very different understandings of the word "hippy". It was always interesting to hear other people's "discovery" story. Most people had fantastic tales of surviving monster attacks. But... When he explained his discovery, her eyes widened just a touch. It was similar to her own. By pure chance they found her, or so she felt. She wondered what would have happened if they hadn't. She'd been a lot older than most campers (it was also before the gods were required to claim their children by 13) when she was found. "Yeah, always think monsters finding you first would be worse," she muttered. Though to be honest? Maybe she would have preferred that. Magnolia couldn't help but grin, and blush just a touch, when he asked her to tell him next time it snowed. "Sure. Can't promise how much snow though." just sort of happened from time to time. When a particular god's kid was mad, or arguing. That's what happened when you put a bunch of different powered kids together. While Demeter's cabin was all plant kids, the minor cabin Magnolia stayed in covered all nature. "You could probably bribe the winter kids to make enough snow for a snowball fight."Magnolia shrugged and stared at the ground when he explained that he could blame them for being rude. She supposed he was right, they didn't decide their power, or their parent. "Maybe we should tell the gods to be nicer first. I think we get some of it from them." The gods were always getting up into all sorts of drama after all... Some of it had to be hereditary. Though... when he mentioned keeping a close eye on her? Mangolia's face finally flushed a vibrant red. Against her fair skin and hair, it was as bright as a stop sign. She immediately looked away, fully aware of how beat red her face had turned, to avoid him seeing it, and faked a cough.
