PERSONALITY

Eowyn is a silent girl that keeps to the background. She tends to be sceptical and sarcastic and views nearly everything from a negative point of view. The only time she's more positive is during night, when she feels most comfortable. Eowyn doesn't have or want many friends but the people she cares about are very important to her and she has little to no limits when it comes to protecting them.



Eowyn is fond of electric wires as the idea of energy facinates her and wires are easy to carry around and don't break easily. People often think she's weird and they don't approach her often. Eowyn tries to avoid starting conversations but will not walk away, or be obviously rude. She might make some mean remarks but she will frame them so that they do not seem rude, no matter how they are intended.

HISTORY

Eowyn doesn't remember much about her youngest years, although she does remember moving around a fair bit. She was raised in the Netherlands for the first seven years of her life. At the age of seven her parents decided to move to the United States after Eowyn almost died in an accident she had while playing with her wires, she got electrocuted and spend several weeks in the hospital, when she was dismissed, they moved to the USA. Eowyn never really felt at home in the new country, although her adoptive parents did try everything they could to keep her happy. Although she's fairly good at English, it's not her native language and she fell behind on most classes. The first time she managed to get an A+ was during a lesson on electricity, giving her a strange love for electrical wires. She started carrying them around and knotting them. She tried making snares out of them and many other things that were slightly impossible to others. Eowyn felt a lot more at home at that point.



When she was ten Eowyn met Bella, another young girl who she became close friends with. They got along real well so it hurt Eowyn quite a bit when Bella took to the road again with her parents. She'd been one of the few people that Eowyn had managed to bond with properly despite her weirdness and general antics. It had seemed that Bella didn't care that Eowyn was obsessed with electricity and how to use it and wires. They did meet again when they were thirteen and it was like no time had passed and when they parted they actually made better arrangements in order to stay in touch. They never shared their mutual status as demigods since Eowyn wasn't aware that she is one back then. 


Eowyn had been kicked out of several schools for messing with the electric wires, getting herself into several accidents too but the girl never gave up on her passion. Her parents tried to get her into a school that made robots and other things with wires but Eowyn hated the place. She didn't mind the wires but she liked their electricity transport, not connecting them to make things move. The school threw her out when she decided to include the swimming pool in the circulation.

One of her teachers, Mr. Nolan, advised her parents to send her to a special summer camp. Her parents gladly accepted and they drove to camp halfblood with the teacher. After some short goodbyes Eowyn was left at the borders of the camp, to find her way on her own.

EXPLANATION OF ABILITY SPECIALTY

Eowyn has always been obsessed with wires and electricy and conductivity. She knows a lot about those subjects and can set up traps and snares that are connected to electricity sources for added impact, although she hadn't been able to harvest the material she wants. She has very little interest in things powered by electricty as a whole, as it is the thing that almost killed her as a child that has gotten her full obsession and fascination. Hence her dislike for robotics and her tendencies to see if she could run an electric current through the school swimming pool. It wasn't like she planned to use it to kill people after all......
