Even if Dani wasn't the absolute worst rider in camp, she definitely wasn't the best either. Growing up in the city hadn't provided her with any opportunities to be around horses, and it didn't excite her to try for the most part. She'd rather be off sword fighting or messing with the monsters in the forest. Today however she had somehow managed to convince herself that it would be an amazing idea to head on down to the stables and work on one of her weaker skills.
The ride hadn't gone horribly, but she also wouldn't consider it a success. Now she had to come back tomorrow, and probably the next day, to prove to herself that she could master this worthless skill. Still, she was taking the time to properly care for the poor beast she had ended up riding that day, giving him a rub down and a treat before she went to return the equipment she borrowed. This was going to be a long, long week of learning. If only her pride would let this one go.
@cass
((ooc: this might be a horrible starter. i'm sorry!))

Cass was a great rider, always had been. She had just finished a ride herself, though the horse seemed less than inclined to allow her on it's back at first. She probably smelled like death, which made her sick to think about. Even horses didn't want her anymore. She rode the horse to try and wake herself up but... she still felt terrible. It had been two days since she'd come back to life, and she felt worse then ever. She world was a terrible place, and she'd been... well, she'd been somewhere a lot brighter. A lot brighter. When she returned to the stables she saw someone ride in ahead of her, dismount, and get ready to finish up their time there it seemed. She'd recognize that head of hair anywhere, the way she moved. Cass smiled, riding in behind Dani and sliding off her own horse before turning to face her best friend. Well, her once best friend... but they still were now, right? "Dan!" she greeted with a happy smile, though it was still hard to make it genuine. (not horrible at all )
