"Yeah, I know, I know," Annabeth said with a little eye roll, linking her arm through Percys. New Rome was a safe haven, or at least it was supposed to be. Annabeths heart still stopped every time she heard a loud unexpected noise. She was still afraid of the dark, at least, she claimed it was the dark she was afraid of.
The truth was, once you go into tartarus you don't forget it, and Annabeth had definitely not forgotten. She shook her head, she needed to think of something else. She leaned into Percy a little as they made the walk toward her house, hugging his arm close to her no matter how hot it was. "So, what should we have for lunch?"

Lunch, such a great invention. Whoever decided that humans (and demi-gods) needed a mid-day meal should be given a years supply of blue pancakes. But what to eat for lunch... that was less of an invention and more of a discovery, every day.
"What to have for lunch. Well, I did just get some of that pizza sauce you like. What about a pizza?" he asked her. He noticed that she was clutching to his arm tightly. He didn't mind, the closer she was, the happier he was. He couldn't get much happier than when she was practically glued to his side. He tried not to let his stupid smile show, but he wasn't very good at hiding his emotions from Annabeth.

"Pizza, pizzas good! Annabeth exclaimed. As the two merrily skipped along their way, Annabeth told herself to calm down, to remember the good things in her life and live in the moment. She had Percy, right? She always had Percy. They would never be separated, that was the deal they had made. What other couple was in that good of shape? What other couple had been together as long as they had?
Okay, maybe lots of other couples, but that was different. Things were different with them and Annabeth had to be grateful for that. Their trials brought them closer.
(Let's finish this one haha)

Done deal.
And the two walked off into the sunset, happily thinking about what they were going to eat. Percy swung their entwined hands between them looking over at her and admiring the way the sun glinted off of her hair. When she looked back at him, he didn't look away, he just smiled and brought her hand up to his lips and kissed it.
The End.
And now I am just typing so that I can get to the 100 word limit set on the boards, but it is more difficult so I am going to go back and add more.
