"THALIA!"

Annabeth had just found out that the Hunters had arrived at Camp Half-Blood for one of their regular visits. She immediately dropped what she was doing (which could very possibly have been kissing Percy...) and ran to the Artemis Cabin. The majority of the hunters were standing outside, the door was open because they were just settling in. They had only arrived a few moments ago.

Annabeth moved through the group, a wild ecstatic smile on her face as she looked for her best friend, her first role model and one of her closest allies: Thalia Grace.

Thalia had just arrived at camp and there was quite a crowd at the Artemis cabin. A bunch of hunters thought it might be fun to sleep outside in tents for the night before they even tried to get settled in. That made the inside of the cabin a bit less chaotic as they all set up tents outside. (It was a LONG trip and she was a bit sick of these man hating monsters). At the exact moment that she decided to sit down and relax Thalia saw her favorite blonde curly haired demigod ever, run through the cabin door yelling her name. The daughter of Athena had the biggest smile on her face that Thalia had ever seen. Thalia had missed Annabeth so much and didn't even realize it until now. Running around slaying monsters with a bunch of rage filled women sometimes made you more homesick than you really believe. "Oh my gods it's you Annabeth!" Thalia exclaimed.

Annabeths smiled grew wider when she and Thalia made eye contact, and her eyes may have gotten a little misty. Thalia was one of those people that she didn't worry about when she was gone, but now that she was hear her heart was thumping like crazy. Annabeth ran up to her, wrapping her arms around the taller girls neck in a tight hug before pulling away. "How are you? You look like you're in one piece, that's a good sign!" she said, taking a step back to survey her punk friend. She raised an eyebrow at the group around them for a moment, "you guys look exhausted."

Thalia could not express how excited she was to see Annabeth. Camp would always be home to Thalia, it's where she belonged, for Hera's sake she lived as a tree for seven years and that quite frankly got her used to Camp Half Blood quick. Thalia had tried to be patient getting here because, well let's just say she could have zapped a few hunters to Tartarus on the way. She just smiled her way here because she knew that last time she charred a hunter, Artemis wasn't super happy. "Yeah, we are all pretty exhausted from the last hunt, and sometimes it drives me crazy how moody these guys get when they are tired." Thalia didn't even realize that she was probably the moodiest of them all. "I missed you so much Annabeth, I can't even tell you." The daughter of Zeus didn't know how much she really missed Annabeth. Thalia was ready to spend as much time as she could with her.

Annabeth smiled, laughing at the faact that Thalia was driven crazy by the moody nature of the hunters. They were girls, after all, it wasn't entirely unrealistic for them to be moody in that regard. Thalia herself could get rather moody as well, but Annabeth chose not to comment on that but simply nod in understanding. "Well, it'll be good for you guys being here, hanging out with some of your other siblings and whatnot. I know Jason would love to see you but," she smirked, moving to link an arm through Thalias, "he's going to have to wait his turn. Come on, let's get you something to eat," she began to pull Thalia toward the kitchens.

"I missed you too. Living in New Rome is... different. But it's also easier, in a way. To separate myself from camp for a while..." Camp Half Blood was a place where she had grown up and made her closest friends, but it was also where she had to stay when she had lost Percy, where people had been hurt and killed.
