Klaus knew that the news couldn't be good whenever Chiron came to hand him the letter personally. At the beginning of the summer, the only father he had ever really known had decided that unless his biological mother was willing to take him back, Klaus would be staying at camp until he was old enough to live on his own. When Liam first threatened it, Klaus was sure he would change his mind and let him stay or that his bio mom would have it in her heart to save him. 


But but she couldn't, because she was dead. 


Even The relative happiness of the arts building couldn't sooth klaus now as he slouched against the side of it. His head was down and the letter was hanging limply from his hands. There was more information there to read, things he would want to know eventually, his mothers name among them, but he couldn't bring himself to look at it now. He already knew everything he needed to. 


Klaus was was officially an orphan in all the ways that mattered.

Kiera had been going really just about her bisinuss(ugh my autocorrect won't give me the right spelling ) . She had went and done her training earlier and only just had token a quick shower. She was passing the art building though had to come to a stop as she saw her half sibling,as far as she knew, sitting at the table in the art area.

Keira only blinked and started to make her way over quietly. As she came closer she noticed he had a letter in his hand and his head down. She blinked thinking something was wrong so she came sitting next to him quietly.

Keira sorta worried about him started to say in somewhat soft tone what's wrong Klaus?"she asked. She glanced to the letter again figuring it had something to do with the letter. Either way she still felt she needed to make sure he was ok. She was protective of family even it was half. She just didn't really like seeing him much like this. She quietly waited for his reply if he even gave her one.

Without even looking up, Klaus handed his half sister the letter so that she could read it herself. He didn't care if he hadn't looked it over completely or that Keira would officially know more about him than he did personally. It just didn't matter anymore. That's what's wrong. Sliding down the side of the building, he rested his head against his knees while waiting for her to read it. Hopefully she could make some sense out of his situation or find the words to make things better. The Gods knew he was ready to just give up at this point.

Kiera blinked when he just handed her the letter. She just blinked. She then quietly opened the letter. As she did she read it quietly. At first the letter seemed bad at the first sentences or so. Though as she continued to read she felt her dark eyes widen a little as she had read over one sentence. One sentence that made her heart stop for a moment and for a moment her memory took over and she remembered that dreadful day. Keira shoved the memory from her mind not wanting to remember least she started to cry and she didn't want to.

As she read the rest she went quiet not sure what to say. She knew that now they had shared the same mother. The mother who was now dead,gone,and never coming back. She fought back a tear for a moment. She knew that if they shared the same mother and the same birthday and even are the same age it started to click in her mind. For a while Kiera thought she had no more family besides her half sibling but she really though she lost her direct family. She knew she lost quite a few people and now he on the sheet of paper proved she had not lost everyone and in fact sitting near her was her own twin. Yet she didn't ever know it.

The daughter of Hades put the letter down quietly and slowly she looked to Klaus. She tried to find the right words to tell him. She was quiet for a long time before she said"....Klaus...she said though it was the only thing she could get out not able to find any words to say. What could she say. Mom loved you , it's going to be ok. She didn't know if she could say that. She didn't know how their mother had felt let along if everything was going to be ok. Keira was quiet.

"That bad, huh? I didn't read most of it, just that whoever my bio mom was is dead. I guess to him I deserve it, being the son of the devil and all. Can't convince him to save my life that Hades isn't the same thing. His voice was thick with emotion as he remembered that day. Liam was convinced that Hades could or would bring Cassidy back if Klaus just asked, or even that he could do it himself. It didn't matter how crazy the notion sounded, the grief was just too much for him to handle. "Think they'll let me stow all my crap here year round now that I'm running solo?"

"No its not that bad...."Keira tried to say as she looked at him."your biological mom was also my mom...so your aren't ever alone Kiera said to him. "And look on the bright side though you didn't have to deal with all the deaths I had to... be lucky you sorta had a parent most of your life " Keira said quietly. After a moment she said " but from...what I read we share the same mother and we were both born on the same day... so...your are my twin....and that's better then being alone " Keira said. She was hoping she somewhat cheered him up but her statement seemed a little saddening and she hadn't meant it to sound like that.

Twin? No way. That wasn't even possible. Grabbing the letter back from Keira, he quickly read the rest of it. Sure enough, the woman's last name matched Keira's and he already knew they shared a birthday from previous experience. " We can't be twins. If we were, you would've been put up for adoption too. They try to keep twins together, right? His voice cracked slightly as he spoke, and Klaus knew the truth then and there. She was his full blooded sister and had been this whole time. How had they not noticed this before? Part of him wanted to feel better because he had someone for at least a little while, but the rest was worried that this was all some huge cosmic joke.

Keira shrugged for a moment and was quiet. "Maybe mom...was...unable to keep...both of us and had to make a choice..."Kiera said looking at him."that might be why....b..but we are twins it's plan as day " She said quietly. She wasn't sure how she never would of not known they were soblings. True their mother never mentioned she had a twin but how would she tell her when she died when Kiera was only just young possibly too young to even understand. Kiera was quiet trapped inside her own thoughts for a long time. She didn't know what to say now.

"I mean...I guess that makes sense. I just wish we knew. This is so messed up. We've been living here at camp together for at least two years and neither of us had any idea? Now my mom is gone, my dad hates me, and there's no one to go home to. What God did we upset?" Maybe it was Hades punishing him for calling Liam father, or maybe he had done something wrong. There was no way that bad karma like this was just an accident or a coincidence. Something definitely had it out for him, maybe both of them from the sounds of it.

Kiera was quiet. She listened as he spoke her dark eyes looking to him."i... well I'm not sure...I've never known that answer and sometimes I wondered that myself. I mean I went through 4 foster family lost mom....and my last foster mother was a monster and gave me a horrible scar so.... I wonder the same thing every day " she said looking at him quietly. Kiera was quiet for a moment before looking down "but then again there is no doubt in my mind it's just our luck we get what has happened to us " She said

"You said something before about a lot of death...is there any family left? Who do you stay with? What happened?" Klaus had so many questions and not enough answers, but maybe Keira could at least give him a place to start asking them. Maybe he had grandparents or a nice aunt who would be willing to take custody over from Liam. Anything but having to stay here for the rest of his young life. It was bad enough that he SHOULDN'T leave in the first place...but to know he couldn't was going to drive him absolutely crazy and he had only known for a few minutes.

Kiera was quiet for a long moment at his quiestion. Then finally after what seemed like hours of silence she said"no.....most of them past away or want nothing to do with me which would be the same for you in this situation."Kiera admitted quietly looking down for a moment."I have been here ever since I arrived at camp..... I have nowhere to go out of here.."She said. She didn't know how to tell him how to tell him exactly what happened. She bit her bottom lip slightly still looking down quietly,she closed her dark obsidian colored eyes.
