Danielle had been completely geared up to leave Camp first thing in the morning, right up until one of the Cabin Leaders stopped her. Something about taking a member of the Roman Invasion visiting Camp in to the woods for a little monster fighting. Sure, that was what she intended to do anyways, but the plan had been to go solo. Dani wasn't Fin, she knew what to expect from the woods and had a healthy respect for the monsters residing in it. Somethings just needed to be done privately.

It was already well past noon by the time she finally made her was towards the designated meeting point, the person she was guiding no where in sight. Maybe she should have just went and came back. The hunt would be over and she could go back to worrying about her silly Roman brother. Hopefully this one didn't try to get themselves killed too.

The rock Dani picked to lean against was warm against her skin in the bright sunlight. Good thing she brought her sunglasses and didn't have any heavy equipment to carry. Her sword was hanging from her neck, tiny and disclosed from the rest of the world until she finally needed it, and everything else was just standard camp wear. Now to start the waiting game, all over again.

Sidra had been travelling to Camp Half Blood for the first time seeing as she heard others going and wanted to go. She walked into the camp silently. She needed to go to the meeting point. So quietly, the daughter of Bellona moved her way to it where she soon spotted the girl she would need to meet. She walked over quietly and said giving only a slight smile hello are you the person I was supposed to meet?"She asked looked at her. She moved a bit of black hair behind her ear quietly smiling some. She looked around before back to Danielle.

"You the Roman who wanted to try out the woods? Then yea, your with me. Danielle Rockefellar, daughter of Ares, by the way. Call me Dani." For a split second, she almost worried that the girl would recognize her last name and associate her with Finley, but she shrugged it off quickly. People had to find out eventually, so why did she care? Anyways, let's get this show on the road. Are you ready?" she couldn't tell if the girl had all her gear or not, especially since she was unfamiliar with the girl or any special weapons might be carrying. Her own sword hung from a chain on her neck, only the size of her pinky. People generally thought she was crazy walking in to things like this without one visible until they figured it out. It was fairly amusing, she had to admit.

"Yeah I'm the Roman " Sidra replied looking at her. She had a sword on her but with her power she had she would be able to just hold any weapon and weither instantly or in a matter of minutes, she would know exactly how to use said weapon. In this case she decided to just bring her sword with her. It was at her hip in its sheathe. She looked at her nice to meet you I'm Sidra Chang" She said to her.. when she asked if she was ready the daughter of Bellona nodded. "Yes I'm ready " she said.

Dani nodded at the younger girl and then turned towards the woods. Battles and weaponry was an understated power, but one that Dani envied quite a bit. Even though she could take a weapon away from someone with her telumkinesis, that didn't mean she could use it with any assured accuracy. Sure, she practiced to compensate, but you could never use every weapon in the world enough to completely master it naturally.

"So, how long have you been at Jupiter?" Dani asked offhandedly as she pushed a branch out of their way to head deeper in to the woods. Already she could hear things stirring, but the nasty beasts weren't ready to pounce just yet.

Sidra followed close behind Dani. She was quiet for a moment as she followed. She moved a branch out of the way glancing around silently. Upon hearing the question asking her how long she had been at Camp Jupiter she blinked."Well to be honest it's only been maybe only 6 days not even a full week yet to be honest " Sidra admitted. She kept one hand on her sword as she followed Dani. The other she used to move branches or whatever out of the way. "So just curious how long have you been at well this camp?"She asked looking to her as she followed.

That was an interesting question with an even more interesting answer. Danielle couldn't help but smile as she turned to face the newer demi-god, shaking her head as she did so. "Six years, so one for every day you've been at Jupiter. They should've warned me you were so new, I would've brought back up." It wasn't that she couldn't handle herself, but it was always scary to take a new person out for the first time. Even the Camps tended to have a high death rate. It was just the way things were for them. Heroes died and died young, almost every single day.

"Oh wow that's way longer than me " She said smiling a tad bit. Though she blinked when she mentioned back up. She for a moment was quiet. She was a tad bit insulted by it. "Well there is no reason for back up " Dhe said frowning some. When she gets upset she gets upset. She knew demi gods died daily even young but she wouldn't be one of them. She was mostly insulted by the thought of back up about going into woods.She looked at her frowning a bit. She then calmed herself quietly smiling a bit before finally calmed.

" Back up is only a precaution, Sidra. Experienced heroes get the tar beat out of them here every day. Sometimes they don't come back and this is a CAMP exercise. Don't get offended. Even one of your centurions ended up with the healers for a significant amount of time a few days ago after a run in with too many griffins." Danielle was happy that her face wasn't visible, because it was hard enough to hide the annoyance in her voice, much less on her face. Heroes who didn't know how to utilize back up tended to have more trouble than others. Even she, Ares' headstrong daughter, took a partner. It was a necessary evil.

Sidra was quiet for a long moment upon hearing this. She was quiet for a moment before saying"oh... well I'm sorry.... I had acted offended.. I just don't always feel I need help let alone back up.."Sidra attempted to appoligize. She looked around quietly one hand rested on the hilt of her sword. She looked around quietly. She could tell their were monsters stirring about around them but had yet to attack. She felt her hand tighten on the hilt in a but of nervousness. She was silent somewhat after looking Danielle for a moment quietly. She still didn't speak after her sad attempt at her appoligy.

"No worries, just...try to remember that a lone hero tends to end up a dead hero. That's why we quest in groups of two or three most of the time." Obviously someone had forgotten to give Sidra the basic run down on being a successful hero, but that was fine. If they needed something to talk about, it might as well be work. Before Dani could say anything else, she heard a rustling beside them that made her hair stand on end.

It only took her a second to draw sword from it's tiny sheath on her neck, but it felt like a lifetime as the monster came barreling towards them.Smoke assaulted her senses and made it hard to breathe whenever the Chimera got close enough for her to know what was coming their way. This was definitely going to be fun.

Sidra nodded silwntly. Remember that,she thought to herself for a moment."alright I'll try to remember that " she said before she trailed off blinking seeing the Chimera. She unsheathed the sword at her hip and gripped it in her hand. She looked at it. Thi s was going to be fun. She knew how to use her sword thanks to her power. She gave a small smiled and glanced to Dani"so we work as a team...what's the plan?"she asked taking a step back to stand beside Danielle. She looked at the Chimera silently with her brown eyes.

"Don't let the tail get you." Dani shouted in response to her plan of attack. The fire was bad enough, but being poisoned didn't sound like a fun today. It's snake like appendage struck the ground at her feet right as Dani rolled away. Divide and conquer was the best strategy she could think of. Two heroes. Two heads. Twice the problems. "You grab the front, I'll handle the snake." Or that was the intention at least. It wouldn't be cool if she brought this girl out to the middle of nowhere and then left her to fend for herself against the big bad chimera.
