The sun dissapeared. It had been a nice day but then the sun was suddenly gone. I looked around in confusion, but I couldn't see anything. Then the moon came up. Like in one of those fast motion time lapses, but minus the sun. Dark, moon, dark, moon. It stopped at the full moon in the center of the sky.
All of a sudden I feel an urgency. I start running, the light of the full moon lighting the uneven footing. I fell a few times, scraping my hands, but it didn't matter. I had to get there. I had to get to
her, even though I didn't know who
her was. I scrambled across the rocks and jumped over chasms until I could see her. She was standing alone on a grassy hill. She turned toward me but I couldn't see her face. I took a step forward, right into a chasm.
I started awake after that. I thought it was a crazy dream, but then I saw my hands, all scraped up and bleeding. That was when I knew it had been a crazy dream.

The dream changed last night.
Instead of stopping, the time lapsing moon just kept circulating for the entire dream, giving the whole scene and crazy strobe light feeling. I was already on top of the hill with the girl and at first I was just relieved to be next to her. I took her hand, the instant my skin touched hers it felt like lightning had hit me. Suddenly we were both falling through the empty space, the crazy strobe light moon flashing right next to us. I felt her slipping through my fingers, and I tried to hold onto her. Even as I reached to grab her other hand she slipped. The feeling of loss was so intense I couldn't stand it. I spiraled out of control then hit the earth.
When I woke up, my hair was singed and I had tears on my face.

I was switching back and forth between the two dreams for a while, equally disturbing. They made it hard to get restful sleep. Sometimes I think I am going crazy.
Last night, I had a different dream.
It started out really happy. We were holding hands, even though I still couldn't see her face. I knew that this was where I belonged. I needed to be with her. But then a huge cyclops charged up the hill, slamming down between us with his club. We both scattered and then stood ready to fight the monster. I charged toward it, my bow materializing in my hands, but before I could get close enough to hit it, my foot sunk into a sink hole, all the way up to my thigh. I watched, helpless as the cyclops grabbed the girl and threw her down the hill. Her broken body landed at the base, still. I screamed as I reached out for her.
The scream is what woke me up. My leg was covered in mud.

The dream has been changing every night, like it can't decide which horror to give me. But the one that has shown up the most is this.
The girl stand alone, and I can tell she is lonely. She just stand on the top of that hill. But around the base are monsters, demi-gods, and even some gods. They are standing like sentinels, guarding her castle. Everytime I try to get close, one of them kills me. But I don't wake up. I just appear at a different spot around the hill. I keep trying to get to her. I have to. I know that I will fall apart if I don't get to her.
When I woke up I had at least 12 bruises as big as saucers. I think I might be falling in love with someone who might not even be real.
