Sidra started to walk up to the Caldecott Tunnel quietly. The girl had been going for hours now deciding against resting as she used everything that the goddess Lupa and her wolves had taught her. She stopped only briefly though out her journey to get here from the Wolf House. She remembered each time she stopped, she was either faced a monster of some sort or was too on edge to rest. Everything she went to led up to where she would be going and she hoped to the gods that it would be worth it. As she approached into the Tunnel she saw two people. She blinked and stopped tensing up some for a moment. Though everything told her that she needed to get past them to where she needed to go. She started inching towards them. Sidra then stopped only a foot away from the two,who seemed to be in a way guarding the entrance or something she didn't know. (SUZIE EDIT: Ethan Jay Macree, we should have Ethan and @finley guarding the entrance for this thread!)

Guard duty could be really boring, but Ethan was a good person to do it since he could tell if people were lying about why they were there. Especially since the Greek's started showing up. More people coming to camp meant that there was more of an opportunity for peoples of mal intent to get into camp.
Today he was guarding with @finley who was a good enough guy. Ethan didn't know him too well yet, but he planned on changing that. He thought Finley was a great guy who Ethan could learn a lot from. He also felt the need to have a friend that he could confide in. Was that Finley? He didn't know, but he hoped that it might be later.
"What is the weirdest dream you have ever had?" he asked trying to break the silence. It was also a good way to find out how open the guy was to talking about... weird things. Ethan had been having crazy dreams for the last year all about this girl. The only thing was, when he woke up what ever had happened in the dream, bled over into reality. Last night had had been drowning and he woke up soaking wet this morning, hair dripping and sheets sopping.
The horizon was clear, just the early rush hour traffic passing by under the tunnel. He scanned the hills as he waited for an answer. That is when he saw something. A person walking quickly toward the tunnel and straight for the entrance. He pulled a knife out of the bandolier he was wearing across his chest. Throwing knives were the weapons he had been practicing with recently. He crouched down into a throwing stance, ready to defend the entrance if he needed too.

Sidra was somewhat quickly approaching the tunnel mostly because she wanted to get where she was supposed to be. Though as she had approached she had stopped in her tracks as one of the guards pulled out a knife. She paused for a moment starting to wonder if this was the right place. She wasn't sure.
Slowly she started to move up to the entrance dispite the guard with the knife. She had made it thus far and endured enough. So much that the guard with the knife didn't so much as sway her intentions of getting through the entrance. She had followed what had told her how to get hear. It was more based on instinct somewhat but everything told her her little journey ended once she gets through that entrance.
As she started to get only a few feet away from the guards she looked to them not really feeling threatened by them somewhat but determination showed in her eyes as she said."I need to get past that entrance."She said though it was more as if she had no clue what was beyond the entangle itself.

Guarding at the gate was one of Finleys favorite jobs. It was mostly given to lower ranking members of the Jupiter ranks, but today he and his fellow Centurion had taken up the job. Finley didn't know Ethan that well, and Finley was no good at getting conversations going. Luckily, Ethan was a little better at that. At Ethans question, Finley pursed his lips in thought, raising on eyebrow up toward the sky, "Hmm..." honestly? Finley hadn't really remembered most of his dreams. Sometimes Gods talked to their children that way, but Fin hadn't really ever experienced that. His father wasn't really the 'let's have a chat' type. Though, Fin had heard stories about his brother and praetor, Frank Zhangs, stories about their father...
But that was off topic. He turned back to Ethan, "honestly, I can't recall any at the moment. You?" he asked.
Soon, they saw someone coming in the distance. Finley calmly prepared his cross bow, pulling it over his shoulder and into his hands, lacing the arrow through it. As their newcomer spoke of how she 'needed' to get through, Finley raised an eyebrow. "What's your business here, then?"

Sidra looked to the guy with the crossbow silently. She was sorta not liking the whole weapons out thing. She frowned a bit and stood quietly. She heard his question and looked at him " my business here is that I have been traveling for a while and am trying to find this place Lupa send me off.. look I'm not really in the mood for your weapons " Sidra said getting just a tad bit irratated. She hadn't got much sleep and in doing so it tends to make people well a bit cranky. She looked to the two waiting to see if that let her in now or not.

As the girl approached, Ethan kept his knife out and watched her warily. He wanted to answer Finley's question, but the girl was close enough to demand entrance to the camp. Not on his watch, he didn't let just anyone in. As she answered Finley's question Ethan watched her face intently, searching for any sign of a lie. He didn't need to, his power told him instantly if someone was lying or not. It wasn't a thought that said "liar! Liar!" it was more of a feeling of extreme discomfort. When he had first been getting used to his power he didn't understand how to use it. Sometimes he still didn't. But he was getting better. And this girl was not lying.
He put his knife away. "She's telling the truth, Lupa sent her." He said to Finley. "Welcome, demi-god, to Camp Jupiter." he said with a mock salute.

It was incredibly convenient having someone around who could detect whether or not someone was telling the truth. It made guarding the entrance a heck of a lot more easy, that was for sure. Fin nodded once at Ethan, putting his crossbow back in it's sling over his shoulder. Fin then turned to the girl, deciding to let her sassy attitude slide, for now. "Yes, welcome. There are procedures and protocols from this point on and people you'll need to speak with. Are you ready?" that was Fin for you, all business. He had been told he could loosen up a little, but that wasn't really something he was great at.

Sidra wanted to say something when the one said she was telling the truth. She just blinked,at what point did she think she was lieing or did they. She just crossed her arms frowning a bit at the thought before she uncrowded them ND let them rest at her side.
She silently looked to the other male standing guard and listened as he spoke. She just nodded at his welcome and as well to the other males welcome before she said."I am ready... I've been ready since of stood here for I don't know how long" she said a tad bit crossly. She really did need to get some sleep after all this is said and down. She seemed to be a but crabby.

Ethan sighed as the girl started to get testy. "Calm down, we will take you in now." he said, shooting Finley a look that said great, another one. Honestly, he didn't know if she was going to be a problem, but she was going to be difficult to deal with when she was tired. He turned around toward the entrance and pushed open the door. "After you, young lady." He gestured with a flourish toward the door. He hung back with Finley for a moment. "Thoughts on this girl?" Just because he could tell if someone was lying, didn't mean he was a good judge of character. He didn't know if this girl was going to be someone to get to know or not.
(Monster attack? drama? ideas?)

(eh, I dunnooo. I'm sleep XD)
Finley nodded once as the girl was directed toward the door. When Ethan turned to him, Fin shrugged. "I don't know, honestly. I've seen way more suspicious people come through here. She seems pretty standard to me. Maybe a little intense," he chuckled as he started forward. As they stepped into Camp Jupiter, Fin raised an eyebrow at the girl they had just led inside. "So, this is Camp Jupiter," he said with an awkwardly outstretched arm. He was really bad at this kind of stuff, being all friendly to knew people and whatnot.
